Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. ~ Marianne Williamson
When people ask me how I coach, I always answer in pretty much the same way: I bring people back to themselves, to their essence, so that from there they can create the life they truly want. In a nut shell, that is what coaching with me is like.
Clients often come to me because they are struggling in some way, shape or form: with anxiety, stress, loneliness or disconnection. And most of these things stem from not being connected to yourself, to what you truly want, need, and need to honour.
My aim is to support you in coming home to yourself, finding your unique flavour and letting it shine the way you want.
I offer you my super powers – my heart, my love and my senses – to help you get more in touch with yourself and find out who you truly are, underneath all the layers of conditioning and adaptation. This is a delicate process and also a beautiful one, like peeling layers from an onion. We will look for your raw diamond, and you get to shape it the way you want.
What we encounter along the way – stories, defense mechanisms, patterning – we will handle with care. But I am here to serve you, not your stories.
Clients tell me I often see or feel things before they do. I am highly senstive and simply hear and feel a lot. That helps when you go in. I mirror things you might not yet have seen or felt yourself. I offer you reflection on where I see you behave in dissonant ways, saying one thing and doing another for example. All these things make up who you are, and all these things, once you are more aware, become ways to guide you closer to yourself.
You are basically altering your future, by looking at what is in your present.
Because when you have awareness, you have choice. And that means you can make different choices than the ones you made before.
From there it comes down to learning new behaviour that supports that emerging new you. That supports the life you want to live. Step by step, day by day. It is a matter of practice and repetition, of becoming more comfortable with doing things a different way. Of making new grooves in your behaviourial patterns that outgrow the old ones. I have a whole range of tools to support you in that process, collected over the years, tried and tested by my clients and me.
Slowly changing your behaviour will inevitably lead you to a different life. It really is that simple. Which does not mean it is always easy. That is why having a coach is a great support in that process.
If you want to:
- Gain insight into your behaviour, where it stems from and how you can slowly start changing it towards the life you want;
- Go from stress and anxiety to enjoyment and pleasure, and increase your day-to-day happiness;
- Learn about sensitivity and how to live, love and thrive as a sensitive person in this world;
- Find a deep connection to your needs, passion and boundaries and how to honour all of those;
- Find your unique flavour of you-ness and how you want to express that;
- Gain emotional resilience, self acceptance and self love;
- And learn how to bring that into your daily relationships, increasing your sense of connection, belonging and being okay with the world.
Then coaching with me might be for you.
This is how I work:
I start off every potential coaching relationship with a free no-strings attached intake conversation.
We will take 1,5 to 2 hours together to dive into what is working you, where you want to go and if I can be of support in getting there. You will always get more insight into your world and take away at least one thing you can start working with. People have been wanting to pay me for these free intakes because they got so much value out of them! When we are both a “hell yes” to working together, then we embark on our journey.
I work in the moment – because that is where we can see behaviour and beliefs in action. What I do is not a fixed mould or model, nor a quick fix. We will decipher the way you work, the way you operate, the way you tick. And from there on we will design a process that is tailored to your needs.
I always work with clients for at least 6 months. Transformation takes time, and it is essential to give yourself that time to explore and evolve. We will meet once every 2 weeks, online or at my coaching space in Amsterdam. In between sessions I am available – for topics that have come up, things you would like to share or if you need support or reflection.
My fee for 6 months is flexible, depending on your income. The minimum is € 1.500,- (including or excluding 21% VAT depending on if you have a business) and I invite clients to explore what their ‘sweet spot’ is, where you feel you have skin in the game and you feel on the edge of your chair. That is vital for a trajectory to work. And that is the price we will go for.
You have full permission. You really do.
“Working with Anke has been amazing and revealing. She was able to take me to the core of the problems and hold me there gently until I could acknowledge them, accept them and start working with them. Our work together covered many fields – personal relationships, work, self-worth and the relationship with my body. In each one of them I took a leap and changed mind-sets, learned to accept myself easier and more, and to connect better and more easily with people around me. Anke helped me show up more into the world, accepting and owning my power, without fearing “am I too little?”, “am I too much?”. She has an amazing way of connecting with me, even through Skype I felt met, seen and beautifully contained.” ~ Irina Ionescu
